Knot Building, 2008

Knots are used to tie loose ends. But once it is tighten up, it creates a bump on a smooth rope. In a relationship, when you want to create a bond, it should be done naturally. Yes, you need to make an effort. Your energy should  focus on relationship development and not to build something artificial. The moment you use force, it creates a tension. The tension creates problems. You are trying to conceal the your forced efforts. You are trying to resolve the tension and the problems, but you are pulling in the wrong direction. One thing piles on another. In no time instead of nice strong bond you have a big messy tangle. Moreover in this situation your relationship is started to stagnate and the gangrene kicks in.

Mosaic Drawing Circle Vision(Black, Blue, Silver, and Gold), 2010
The circles are people. Some of them are real persons, some of them are fictional. Some of them are alive, some of them are dead. But all of them influence other people. The lines are relationships. They can extend the radius where the forces of influence work. The small dots are impulses of influence. They are some deeds that you do for people you don't even know, but you know they would appreciate what you have done for them. The circle is a symbol of time. So a person(circle) is a container for time, for the experience that the person had. And all of these are just threads in a great textile, called History.

Coral Series # 19, 2006
You meet someone. S/he is attractive, funny and smart. You two are having a good time. Everything is fine, rosy, fresh green. The skies are blue. You are starting to build a relationship. Then the arguments start. The conflicts lead to a breakup, which was messy and painful.

Game with Lines and Colors
This is relationship. Two players - he and she(2 circles in the middle) are playing the game. The game board and the rules are constantly changing. That's why the colors are bleak, the players are not sure of their moves, like everything is in the fog of uncertainty. Or it could be just before the dawn, when you are about to reveal some personal deep hidden secrets. The game is very addictive, especially when you cross certain Lines.

The night makes everything look mysterious. People assign divine attributes to the unknown (the dark brown structure on the left). The stars have been celestial inhabitants. But people gave them human properties. Thus what we "see" in the skies is a reflection of what is going on on Earth - in the village, under the cover of darkness. The stars are persons and flows are relations and feelings that people share.
